Nineteen Thousand Square Feet, Room by Room
Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco announced the completion of a multi-phase renovation on 15 April 2026. The work covered 316 guest rooms and more than 19,000 square feet of meeting space, according to the release carried by Hotel Online and LODGING Magazine.
The hotel's Cvent supplier profile, read on 25 September 2026, counts 19,000 square feet, or 1,765.2 square meters, across 12 meeting rooms and publishes 15 floor plans.
The largest room is the North Point Lounge at 6,696 square feet. It measures 103 feet by 65 feet under a 9.1-foot ceiling. Banquet rounds seat 270, cocktail rounds seat 350, theater seats 300, and the profile's maximum capacity for the room is 350.
The Presidio Ballroom is the second largest room at 3,290 square feet. At 94 feet by 35 feet it seats 272 in theater, 210 at banquet rounds, 300 for a cocktail reception and 180 in a classroom set, with 88 in a hollow square.
The rest of the inventory runs from C.A. Thayer at 1,763 square feet down to Balclutha at 464. Banquet ABC holds 1,748. Banquet AB and Banquet BC hold 1,242 each. The Wardroom holds 1,000 and seats 30 for a banquet. Jeremiah O'Brien holds 960. Solano and Amador hold 910 each. Marin holds 900. Sausalito B holds 736, Eureka on the third floor holds 730, and Larkspur A and Tiburon C hold 506 each.
Three Hundred Sixteen Keys Behind the Floor
The block draws on 316 guest rooms. The profile divides them into 154 single-bed rooms, 162 double rooms and 3 suites. The release adds Executive Suites and ADA-accessible accommodations to the room mix.
No source reviewed publishes a block size for this hotel. A planner sets rooms-on-peak in the RFP and asks for the number in writing.
Two Promotional Windows and Three Priority Dates
The profile carries two promotions. One is titled 2 Bonus Perks to Celebrate Our Renovation and runs 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2026. The other is titled Experience Our Transformation in 2027 and runs 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027. Both are labelled promotional rates, and neither publishes a figure.
The profile names three windows the venue prefers for events: 22 November to 30 December 2026, 1 to 9 January 2027, and 14 January to 28 February 2027.
Audio and video equipment is included with room rental, and on-site staff are available, per the profile's FAQ. The equipment list carries a dance floor, a loading dock and a staging area. The same FAQ answers "No Information Available" for the largest event space capacity and for the seating setups, which the room pages carry instead.
The Convention Run
The address is 555 North Point Street. The profile places the hotel one block from the Taylor and Bay Street cable car stop, steps from the F-line, two blocks from Fisherman's Wharf and three miles from Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
Moscone Center sits 2,733 meters, or 1.70 miles, from the hotel in a straight line. That figure is computed from OpenStreetMap data, read on 25 September 2026. A group needs a vehicle for that leg.
The release describes the reworked floor as a ballroom and a prefunction area with skylights and a fireplace. The profile's largest room, the North Point Lounge, is the space that carries the 6,696 square feet and the 350-person maximum.
The Ownership Record Behind the Work
Park Hotels & Resorts closed the sale of the 316-room hotel for $80 million, or $253,000 a key. Its release priced the deal at 64.0 times 2024 EBITDA and said the proceeds would fund return-on-investment projects across the portfolio.
No renovation cost appears in any source reviewed, and no construction start date appears either. The 15 April 2026 completion announcement is the start of record, and it sits eleven months after the sale closing.
