The published ladder
The 21st San Francisco Short Film Festival prices its tickets one seat at a time. San Francisco IndieFest publishes three public prices on its own ticketing platform: a live screening seat at 15 dollars, a Live+Virtual Screenings Pass at 95 dollars and a Virtual Screenings Pass at 65 dollars. A film club of eight booking one live programme pays 120 dollars, which is eight seats at 15 dollars each.
What one seat covers
Each live programme is a single two-hour block at the 4-Star Theater, 2200 Clement St, San Francisco 94121. The platform's ticket record for every one of the seven live programmes carries one bucket, listed as General Admission, priced at 1,500 cents with a quantity of 120. The same platform's venue record sets the room's capacity at 120 and leaves reserved seating off, so a seat is taken in arrival order.
The pass list
The platform's pass list carries six pass types. Two carry a price: the Live+Virtual Screenings Pass at 95 dollars and the Virtual Screenings Pass at 65 dollars. The other four, a Delegate Badge, a Complimentary Pass, an Industry Pass and a Local Filmmaker Pass, are published without a price. Volume pricing is switched off on all six, so the platform computes no lower rate at a higher quantity.
The arithmetic for eight
Eight seats in one live programme is 120 dollars. Eight Live+Virtual passes is 760 dollars, one pass per person across the live screenings and the virtual programmes. A club of eight attending all seven live nights buys 56 seats at 15 dollars, which is 840 dollars.
The dates a club books into
The organiser dates the festival 15 to 22 October 2026 and the live screenings to 15 to 21 October, seven nights. The seven programmes start at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday 15 October, 8:30 p.m. on Friday 16 and Saturday 17, 5:00 p.m. on Sunday 18, and 8:15 p.m. on Monday 19, Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21.
The room
The 4-Star Theater gives its own contact line as 415.418.6712 at 2200 Clement Street. The 120-seat figure is the organiser's platform record, and the same platform sets every live programme's General Admission quantity at 120.
Ways to attend
The welcome page sets out three routes: live screenings, a pass, and the virtual festival watched on a TV. A single live seat is 15 dollars and a single virtual admission is 10 dollars, against the 95-dollar Live+Virtual pass and the 65-dollar Virtual pass.
The seat counters on 8 October
The platform's own seat counters on 8 October 2026 read 26 seats sold for Opening Night, 12 for Funny LOL, 6 for An Animated World, 27 for True Stories, 14 for Spontaneous Connections, 4 for Spine-tingling Stories and 36 for Closing Night. That is 125 seats sold across the seven live programmes, 715 open of 840, and 1,875 dollars taken at the published price.
What eight people contract
A club booking here is eight seats on one published price. The platform applies no quantity discount, so the cost follows the seat count across the week. The organiser advises booking in advance. A club fixes its night first and its count second, and a party of eight at any one of the seven programmes pays 120 dollars.
