Group registration for the TDX series opens at five Full Conference passes. Salesforce's TDX FAQ states the purchase runs directly through the TDX website. The same page states refunds are not available at any time on any pass included in a group purchase.
The organiser publishes the flow after the transaction. The group representative sends invitations through the group dashboard. Each attendee completes registration on a unique link and books a hotel room through the official housing portal. Hotel booking is not available until the individual registration completes. The FAQ adds that rooms are limited.
Five passes therefore produce five reservations in five names. Salesforce publishes no rooming list for the buyer to submit. The group dashboard carries invitations, unused-pass reassignment and usage reports.
The 2027 window on the venue calendar
TDX 2027 runs Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2027. The Moscone venue feed dates the booking 10 to 11 March at Moscone West. Salesforce's events page carries the dates and the badge line "San Francisco and Salesforce+".
The venue feed holds three March 2027 bookings at Moscone. GDC Festival of Gaming runs 1 to 5 March. TDX runs 10 to 11 March. The American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting runs 19 to 23 March. The working week of 8 March carries TDX alone.
Set the stay window at Tuesday 9 March arrival and Thursday 11 or Friday 12 March departure. The two badge days sit inside it. The 2026 edition opened badge pickup at 2:00 p.m. the day before and ran its celebration 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Day One.
The buyer's risk sits on the passes
Group passes are nonrefundable and cannot be combined with any other offer, discount or promotion. Salesforce's master event terms add that an unclaimed discounted pass is also nonrefundable and that multiple transactions cannot be combined retroactively for group pricing.
The pass count is fixed at purchase. The room count is not. A buyer who commits five passes makes a separate decision on five rooms, and each attendee makes that decision alone inside the housing portal.
Hotel reservations are nontransferable under the FAQ. Registration substitutions are processed free of charge. A badge substitution leaves the room booking in the original attendee's name.
The pass minimum disagrees across two documents
The TDX FAQ reads "five or more TDX 2026 Full Conference passes". Salesforce's master Event Group Passes Program terms read "a minimum of three (3) Event passes must be purchased in one transaction". Both documents are live on salesforce.com, and the FAQ links the master terms as its full terms and conditions.
Quote five for this event and show the buyer both pages. The master document also states that group pricing applies to the single group pass transaction and reaches no hotel accommodation, training session or certification charge.
Room terms the city sells against
The 2026 Official Hotel List names 15 properties between 0.1 and 0.9 miles of Moscone West. Eight carry a 24-hour cancellation term, two carry 48 hours, five carry 72 hours.
The list's footnotes state that TDX rates ran until 23 March 2026 or until sold out. Hotels could charge a one-night deposit after 24 March 2026. Early departure fees applied where checkout came before the scheduled departure date without notice at check-in.
The FAQ answers the same cancellation question with "between two weeks and five days before arrival, depending on the hotel". The list carries 24, 48 and 72 hours for the same properties. Quote the list's per-property term with its page named.
What the city can put in front of the buyer
Build the offer around five rooms on the nights of 9 and 10 March 2027 with a checkout on 11 or 12 March. Put the deposit date, the per-property cancellation window and the early departure term on one page.
Ask the buyer for the group purchase confirmation. The confirmation dates the pass transaction and names the representative who sends the invitations.
Track the five reservations after the buyer distributes the links. Each attendee books alone, so five reservations arrive separately and each carries its own card and arrival night.
Salesforce publishes no 2027 pass price, no 2027 hotel list and no 2027 registration opening date on the pages read. Quote the 2026 $799 Full Conference price as the last published figure and date it.
