A five-person line on the registration page
SEMICON West 2026 runs October 13 to 15 at Moscone Center in San Francisco, in Moscone North and South. The registration site carries the group term, and it reads: Save on registration when booking for 5 or more. Ideal for colleagues attending together. The group route sits at registration.semiconwest.org/SEMICON_West_Group_Pass_Sales.
The housing side runs a second threshold. The exhibitor housing page takes individual reservations and block requests for 10 or more rooms through one form.
Four days for a four-day week
The organiser's pass comparison puts the Expo Plus pass at three days and the Thought Leadership and All-In passes at four. The agenda-at-a-glance dates a pre-show Monday, October 12, to SEMI U courses and the SEMI Market Symposium. The Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday carry the show floor. The SEMI Market Symposium is included on the four-day columns and prices at $575 on the Expo Plus column.
The SEMI U add-on
The registration page publishes a course route outside the pass. It reads: If you wish to attend a SEMI U Course only, the option is available with an additional $100 added to the course fees. The same page's pass comparison prices a SEMI U course at $695 on the Expo Plus and Thought Leadership columns and $595 on the All-In column. SEMI U courses run on the pre-show Monday and again on the Thursday.
Two halls and three show days
The expo hall opens 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Tuesday and the Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Thursday, on the organiser's exhibitor planning timeline, revised September 21, 2026. Exhibitor early access starts at 8 a.m. each day. The organiser's event map splits the show across Moscone North Hall and South Hall, and the venue's own events feed places SEMICON West in Moscone North and South.
WestFest runs 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on the Tuesday in Moscone South, Level 300. The agenda-at-a-glance lists that item on the Tuesday only.
The block has closed
General exhibitor housing opened March 11 with a rooming list deadline of August 28. The last day to cancel without penalty was September 25. Additions, changes and cancellations ran to September 29, and the hotels took over reservation management on October 1. The housing bureau's reservation page now reads: Housing is now closed. Please contact your confirmed hotel directly for changes and cancellations beginning 10/1/2026.
The district roster is the Yerba Buena Partnership's list of 11 hotels with street addresses, from the InterContinental San Francisco at 888 Howard Street to the W San Francisco at 181 3rd Street and The Mosser Hotel at 54 4th Street. Engine puts the citywide par rate at $165 a night and October at $176, seven percent above the citywide basis. The venue adds its own terms: Legends Global is the exclusive provider of food service at the Moscone Center and on the surrounding streets when closed in conjunction with an event, the center carries no on-site parking, and BART and MUNI reach Moscone North and South through Montgomery station.
What the destination holds that week
TechCrunch Disrupt opens the same three days in Moscone West, on the venue's own events feed. Cloudflare Connect follows on October 19 to 21, two days after the final move-out day.
The group benchmarks
Kalibri Labs and PwC publish the group lead-time benchmark, measured from the day a group booking is entered in the PMS as reserved to the day of arrival. The San Francisco MSA publishes 24.2 days. The national figure is 18.5 days, New York publishes 27.4 days and Miami publishes 25.5 days. Group length of stay publishes at 2.46 days. The report's market table puts San Francisco at 12.8 square feet of meeting space per guest room. The report's data covers January to September, 2015 to 2017, and predates the current cycle.
What to book first
Three numbers carry the week. Five registrations take the group saving. A four-day pass carries the Monday programme. The Thursday night carries the teardown clock, and it releases the cohort a day after the floor closes.
