A 39-Night Haunt and the Group Buy Date

Sounds of Screams runs 7 p.m. to midnight through 1 November at the Fair Expo Center, and the ticket's date term fixes when a group must commit.

The published window

Sounds of Screams opens its gate at 7 p.m. and closes at midnight. The fairgrounds' own event calendar dates the run 24 September to 1 November 2026 and lists the venue as Grounds. The park's marketing pages print "Now" in place of an opening date, and the calendar carries the date.

The window holds 39 nights. The last two, Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, sit inside the season pass blackout.

The ticket fixes the date

The park's terms bind a ticket to the date and time slot named at purchase. All sales are final. The terms exclude refunds and exchanges for weather, wait times, and a guest who leaves an attraction.

A group sale carries its own deadline. The hold converts to a purchase at checkout, and the date stops moving at that moment. Put the term in the proposal and the client sees where the decision sits.

The park publishes no group rate, group minimum or booking lead time. The booking route is the Fair Expo Center request form. The rental office is Sira Camilo, director, at (786) 315-5266 and scamilo@fairexpo.com.

Ask the rental office two questions in writing: the last entry time for a group arriving after 7 p.m., and the slot list the park sells. The ticket store renders a date picker and no slot list. The park publishes no last-entry time on any page.

What the grounds hold

Fair Expo Center publishes 86 acres and a booking range from a seminar for 50 to a festival with 50,000 visitors. It hosts more than 70 events a year, and the Youth Fair takes 21 days each spring. The same grounds carry this park through 1 November.

The calendar shows the rest of the closing weekend. Blood Sugar, a Halloween benefit for the Christopher Columbus High School Diabetes Club, runs 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday 30 October in Edwards Hall. Collect & Cafecito Con runs 31 October to 1 November in Arnold Hall. A group booking the closing weekend shares the site with both.

Ask which buildings and gates the park holds before the coach is quoted. The directions page lists five vehicle entrances and puts rideshare drop-off at Coral Way and 112th Avenue, then states that those points serve the annual Youth Fair and may not apply to other Expo Center events. Put the confirmation in writing.

Build the evening from the close

The gate opens at 7 p.m. and the park closes at midnight. That five-hour window frames every other booking in the evening.

Place the dinner before the gate. A table that seats the group at 5 p.m. finishes with time to reach 10901 SW 24th St ahead of a 7 p.m. entry.

Buy the haunt slot against the confirmed table time. The ticket term makes the slot the fixed point, so the table goes in first and the slot second.

A group that wants a late sitting needs a fact the park does not publish. No page states a last-entry time, so the seller confirms one with guest services on 305 SCREAMS or at guestservices@soundsofscreams.com before selling a 9 p.m. arrival.

What the group buys

One general admission covers five haunted houses, scare zones, carnival rides, live entertainment and full park access. The store prices adult admission at 49.99 dollars plus a 2.53 dollar fee, and admission at 9 and under at no charge. The season pass runs 104.27 dollars including fee and carries the two blackout dates.

SOS HOUSE carries an 18+ restriction and graphic themes. A group with minors has four houses to work with.

The package sells on three published facts: a gate at 7 p.m., a close at midnight and a season that ends 1 November. The lead time follows from the ticket term. A group decides by the date it buys, and the calendar holds 39 of those dates.
