Nine venues and no rate card
The Treasure Island operator lists nine featured venues for private events. Aracely Cafe holds a landscaped patio, outdoor dining areas and an indoor cafe, and the operator positions it for brunch gatherings, private dinners and smaller celebrations, with catering and customisable menus.
Bay Padel runs padel and pickleball courts in a fully indoor facility, with adjacent gathering areas for groups and spectators. Gold Bar Whiskey Distillery & Tasting Room sits inside a restored 1930s Art Deco terminal, with a central bar, an indoor tasting room and a waterfront patio. The operator lists full-venue buyouts. Mersea Restaurant & Bar offers indoor and outdoor space, a lawn, outdoor games and catering. Treasure Island Wines runs guided tastings and wine flights in a working urban winery.
Four outdoor venues join them. Cityside Park is six acres on the western shoreline, with open lawns, wide promenades and seating. Panorama Park is three acres on Yerba Buena Island beneath Hiroshi Sugimoto's Point of Infinity, and the operator sizes it for intimate events and scenic receptions. Signal Point Park sits beside it at two acres. San Francisco Glens Stadium carries a FIFA-certified pitch, a pitchside pub area, 5x5 fields and fan stands.
The operator publishes no seated capacity and no rate card for any of the nine. Its events team states that it works at any scale, from intimate receptions to multi-day public festivals.
The ferry sets the clock
The ferry runs seven days a week between the island landing and San Francisco Ferry Building Gate B. The operator states an average travel time of eight minutes on its ferry page and about ten minutes on its getting-here page. Fares run $5 each way and $10 round trip, and children under five ride free. Tickets come from the ferry's mobile app or the terminal, by card or cash at boarding.
Weekday departures from the island run from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The last Gate B sailing leaves at 8:20 p.m. and lands at 8:28 p.m. That timetable sets the outer edge of an evening programme.
Muni's 25-Treasure Island route runs to the Salesforce Transit Center and along the Embarcadero every 20 minutes, every day. The operator also publishes the Bay Bridge Trail, ferry carriage for up to six bicycles a trip, and a free shuttle van for the return climb to Yerba Buena Island.
What Parcel E1.2 adds
The city's Fall 2026 Upcoming Development Projects Forecast, last updated 14 September 2026, carries the next construction start on the island. The Parcel E1.2 behavioral health building lists Cahill as general contractor, Mercy Housing with the San Francisco Department of Public Health as developer, an estimated start in November 2026 and an estimated finish in July 2028 at $70 million. The description reads 240 treatment beds and supportive housing. The document states that its dates and values are projections, are not guaranteed and are subject to change.
That row carries the earliest start in the authority's table. Six more rows follow, from a February 2027 start on a 100-unit senior building through two 2028 condominium starts. Every row on the table is a residential or institutional project.
The overnight block
The project-level EIR for the Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island redevelopment plan, filed under SCH 2008012105, lists 500 hotel rooms among the components, alongside about 300 acres of parks and public open space. No hotel has opened on either island, and the operator's venue and explore directories list no lodging.
The island's nearest published service standard is residential. 490 Avenue of the Palms leases 148 homes with a Director of Experience and Lifestyle and an on-site Experience Team drawn from hospitality backgrounds, and a 34-home Palms Collection tier with weekly housekeeping and car-service coordination. Those are leases.
Day use with a downtown block
A programme can open with a morning arrival at Gate B, run a session at Cityside Park or Mersea, and move indoors to Bay Padel or Gold Bar in the afternoon. On Off the Grid Saturdays the operator adds ferries between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., which widens the usable window. The market runs at Cityside Park on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through 17 October 2026.
Build the operations plan around the 8:00 p.m. island departure and the 8:28 p.m. landing. Book the room block in San Francisco. Confirm capacities and rates with the operator in writing before publishing either.
