Three days on the calendar, a week of demand around them
Cloudflare Connect 2026 runs Monday 19 to Wednesday 21 October at Moscone West, 800 Howard St. The organiser publishes 5,000-plus architects, developers and security leaders and 40-plus partners. One session books outside the hall: func(tion), the closing party, at Oracle Park on Wednesday 7PM to 11PM.
The Moscone Center's public event feed holds 174 records. Two of them share 13 to 15 October. SEMICON West 2026 takes Moscone North and South. TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 takes Moscone West. Connect takes West the following week. Across 19, 20 and 21 October the feed carries no other booking in a Moscone building. Microsoft Ignite 2026 follows on 17 to 20 November, and INFORMS Annual Meeting 2026 on 1 to 4 November.
The route a group takes to the hall
San Francisco Travel Association books every event at The Moscone Center. The venue's Book an Event page carries that line. The route starts with the RFP form. Convention Sales staff match the group to a space. The Contracting Department signs the license agreement. An Event Manager runs the planning and the show floor.
The same page gives the venue's stated purpose. The Moscone Center "serves primarily to fill hotel rooms in San Francisco and potentially the surrounding area". It contracts conventions and tradeshows "that draw attendees from outside of the area". A group with its own dates enters through that process.
The venue's FAQ closes a second route. The Moscone Center does not rent rooms on an individual basis. The FAQ sends a group inside a show's own dates to the show's sponsoring organisation, or to the show office during the event.
The room supply in the venue's own numbers
The FAQ counts "over 20,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of The Moscone Center". The Book an Event page counts "more than two-thirds of the city's 34,000 hotel rooms" inside walking distance. The Yerba Buena Partnership, the district body the venue links, counts "over 300 dining, entertainment and shopping venues" in the neighbourhood.
Seventeen venues outside the complex
The district's event-venue list is the spillover inventory. It names 17 venues outside the Moscone buildings, across 14 street addresses. The list runs from 111 Minna Gallery at 111 Minna St to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 701 Mission St.
Sixteen of the 17 sit within 500 metres of Moscone West as the crow flies, measured from the published address coordinates. Nearest first, those 16 are InterContinental San Francisco at 888 Howard St, Metreon and City View at Metreon at 135 4th St, Canopy by Hilton San Francisco SoMa at 250 4th St, Buena Vida Cantina at 860 Folsom St, AMA's San Francisco Executive Conference Center and San Francisco Marriott Marquis at 780 Mission St, The Contemporary Jewish Museum at 736 Mission St, Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at 757 Market St, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 701 Mission St, Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown Soma and La Societe Bar & Cafe at 50 3rd St, The St. Regis San Francisco at 125 3rd St, W San Francisco at 181 3rd St, Hungry Tables at 257 3rd St and The Howard SF at 661 Howard St. 111 Minna Gallery at 111 Minna St sits outside that radius.
The block and the group rate
The organiser's hotel block ran $279 to $325 per night across Marriott, IHG Hotels, Hilton and World of Hyatt. Booking ran through the official registration link until 28 September 2026, or until the block sold out. Group pricing is published on the registration page: "Groups of 5+ unlock discounted passes, groups of 10+ get 50% off". A conference pass lists at $595, and Cloudflare University lists at $495.
Three terms stay unpublished: the per-property rates, the number of rooms behind the block, and whether it sold out.
The organiser's trip-budget template prices one room night at $350. Its hotel line reads "$350/night x 3 nights = $1,050", against a block band of $279 to $325.
