A 13-acre campus on the northern waterfront
Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture occupies a 13-acre historic district inside the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The visit page places the campus on the northern San Francisco waterfront between Aquatic Park and the Marina Green. The venue page describes the site as a National Historic Landmark and counts 11 venue options from 500 to 50,000 square feet, with more than 100,000 square feet of event space. The campus opened to the public in 1977. The about page puts attendance at approximately 1.5 million visitors a year.
The festival takes the pavilion over the bay
The San Francisco Coffee Festival runs Saturday 7 November and Sunday 8 November 2026 in the Festival Pavilion. Craft Hospitality LLC organises the event. The organiser's about page calls this edition the 10th annual and the official kickoff to the 10th Annual SF Coffee Week. The pavilion measures 50,000 square feet and extends over San Francisco Bay. The venue page gives it a maximum capacity of 3,840, a theatre capacity of 2,000, a banquet capacity of 1,000 and space for 180 standard 10 by 10 booths. The VIP mezzanine carries Golden Gate Bridge views.
One clock runs both days
The organiser publishes a single session clock for Saturday and Sunday. Session 1 Early Admission runs 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Session 1 General Admission runs 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A service break follows from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Session 2 General Admission runs 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Service stops 15 minutes before the end of each session. An Early Admission ticket carries the General Admission window inside it. The extra hour is the only difference between the two choices in a session.
All day passes hold the break
The organiser sells a limited number of All Day passes. Holders move between both sessions, keep in-and-out privileges and hold the exclusive right to remain inside the venue during the service break. The organiser asks that roasters be left the break to rest and directs passholders to the food trucks outside. A group on two single-session tickets holds no hall access from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
What a group buys
The organiser defines the entry terms. Each entry requires a ticket because of venue capacity. A pass is valid for the date purchased and the session purchased, and it must be redeemed inside that session window or it is forfeited. The offer is final sale and nonrefundable. Session transfers sit at the organiser's discretion and are never permitted within 48 hours of the event start. Children under 13 need no ticket and must come with an adult. The organiser publishes no group rate, no group ticket class and no minimum group size.
Fifteen listed properties and no block rate
The festival's about page carries the site's only lodging line: "Thinking about staying over? We're looking for an official hotel partner for 2026, and will update the information here." No festival page names a hotel, a block, a rate or a shuttle. Fort Mason's own accommodations page lists 15 properties by name, address and phone across two areas. The Marina and Cow Hollow group runs three: Comfort Inn By the Bay at 2775 Van Ness Avenue, Hotel Del Sol at 3100 Webster Street and Hotel Drisco at 2901 Pacific Avenue. The Fisherman's Wharf group carries 12, from the Argonaut Hotel at 495 Jefferson Street to the Travelodge By Wyndham Fisherman's Wharf at 1201 Columbus Avenue. Fort Mason publishes no rate, no block code and no room count for any of the 15.
Reaching the campus without a car
The main campus entrance sits off Marina Boulevard at Buchanan Street. MUNI lines 28, 30, 30X, 43 and 49 serve the campus, and Golden Gate Transit stops at Lombard and Fillmore Streets. Fort Mason runs paid parking at event-day rates of $6 for up to one hour, $12 for one to two hours, $18 for two to three hours, $24 for three to four hours and $30 beyond four hours. Parking fees apply from 7 a.m. to midnight daily. The lot fills on occasion, and overnight parking is not permitted.
Building a Marina district weekend
The organiser states that vendors are the same on the two days and that panel topics and entertainment performances change between them. Saturday Session 1 features Jermaine and Session 2 Mae Powell. Sunday Session 1 features Tom Quell and Liv Belda and Session 2 Top Chefs and Kelsey Kindall. A group holding Early Admission on Session 1 arrives at the hall at 9 a.m. and keeps the afternoon for the waterfront. A group on the 1:30 p.m. session keeps the morning. Both plans put the festival at the centre of a Marina district day.
