Group tables in a ten-day window: SF Restaurant Week terms

Fall SF Restaurant Week runs 16-25 October 2026 across four service formats and ten price points. The restaurant list on the association's own site is the Spring 2026 roster, and it carried 179 records on 14 October 2026.

Fall SF Restaurant Week: ten days, four formats, ten price points

Fall SF Restaurant Week runs Friday 16 October to Sunday 25 October 2026. The Golden Gate Restaurant Association runs it. The association dates itself to 1936 and describes itself as a San Francisco-based non-profit 501(c)6 organisation of restaurant members, including many smaller independent restaurants.

A group feeding a party inside those ten days works off four published things: the service formats, the price ladders, the ten-day menu expectation and the booking route. Each sits on the association's own pages. Each carries a limit.

The four service formats

The association's restaurant FAQ states that Fall SF Restaurant Week 2026 "will be open to any SF restaurant offering outdoor dining, indoor dining, takeout and/or delivery". Four formats, and a restaurant may offer one, several or all of them. The participating-restaurants page renders the same four as tags against each record.

The two price ladders

Brunch or lunch menus of two or more items or courses carry four price points: $15, $25, $35 and $45. Dinner menus of three or more items or courses carry five: $30, $45, $60, $75 and $90. Ten price points in all, and a restaurant may list at more than one.

The association publishes these as menu price points. It states no per-person basis and no per-table basis on any page reached, so a party of ten carries the arithmetic question to the restaurant.

The ten-day menu expectation

The association asks participating restaurants to "offer your menu(s) consistently throughout the 10 days (within your restaurant's regular operating days/hours)". The wording is an ask. It sits in the association's menu requirements list beside three harder terms: a price point from the published ladders, at least two items at brunch or lunch and at least three at dinner, and the SF Restaurant Week logo on the menu.

The weekend is the case the association addresses directly. It asks for consistent pricing across the ten days, notes that many diners make their Restaurant Week reservations for the weekends, and suggests that a restaurant which will not offer the menu at weekends contact all weekend reservation holders and tell them the menu is unavailable. A group holding a Saturday table asks for the menu on its own date.

Registration, membership and the deadline

A restaurant taking part had to hold current GGRA membership and register, with menu and photo submissions, by Monday 28 September 2026. Programme questions go to ggra@ggra.org.

What the participating list publishes

The association's participating-restaurants page, read on 14 October 2026, listed 179 restaurants under 179 distinct names. Each record carries a neighbourhood label, a cuisine, service tags and one or more price points. 152 records carry a booking control, of which 124 go to OpenTable and six to Resy, and 126 carry a menus link.

Two points sit on that page. It carries no field for party size and no private-dining category. And the association's own About page names the roster as the Spring 2026 list: it states that the Fall 2026 list "will be available October 2" and links the restaurants page as the full list of Spring 2026 participating restaurants. The page returned 177 records in an earlier read on 14 October 2026 and 179 in this one, so a group reads the count against its own read date.

What a party of ten verifies before booking

The association publishes no group booking route, no party-size term and no group deposit or cancellation terms on the pages reached, so a party of ten checks these things itself.

The format. Takeout and delivery records read differently from indoor and outdoor records for a table of ten, and the tags on each record name the formats that kitchen offers.

The tier. Each record lists its own price points. The association does not require a restaurant to list every tier, so a party takes the tier from the record.

The ten-day hold. Ask the restaurant for the menu and the price on the group's own date, and read the weekend notice against that date.

The table. Booking platforms differ: 124 of the booking controls go to OpenTable, six to Resy, and 22 to other platforms or the restaurant's own page. The association states that OpenTable is not required. 27 of the 179 records carried no booking control at all, and those parties book through the restaurant's own site or telephone.

The list. The roster on the restaurants page is the Spring 2026 list and its count moves, so a group confirms its booking against the Fall list when the association publishes it.

The contact. The association fields programme questions at ggra@ggra.org.
