Winter FancyFaire 2027 occupies three days at Moscone Center, 747 Howard Street, San Francisco, from Sunday 17 January to Tuesday 19 January. The Specialty Food Association carries the offsite figure in the "Who Attends Winter FancyFaire*" stat block on its show page: 16 offsite sampling locations. The same block reads 12,000+ industry professionals, 4,000+ buyer attendees and 1,835 key buyers.
Three offsite sampling venues carry a name on the association's pages. The Campus Tasting Trail page names a Mano, Canela and China Live, and states the design in its own line: "exhibitor products come to life in bespoke, chef-prepared menu items at three culinary hot spots across San Francisco."
Three Evenings, Three Districts
The trail page pairs each restaurant with a date and a district. a Mano runs Saturday 16 January in Hayes Valley, with house-made pasta, pizza and cocktails. Canela runs Sunday 17 January in The Castro, with Spanish tapas, paella and wine. China Live runs Monday 18 January in China Town, with fresh, seasonal Chinese cuisine.
The schedule page fixes the window at 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on each of those three evenings. Saturday 16, Sunday 17 and Monday 18 January are consecutive. The show floor opens on the Sunday, so the first trail evening falls the night before the doors open.
Five Hours Off the Floor
The Campus Tasting Trail page states the offer: a badge-holder samples exhibitor products at a local restaurant, and the chef builds the dish around them.
The programme carries a size. The trail page lists 15 product spots and a $1,500 participation fee if selected. It carries one condition: the brand must be a confirmed exhibitor at Winter FancyFaire 2027.
The same page carries two application deadlines. Its highlights block reads "October 2 deadline to apply". Its timeline reads "October 13, 2026 - Applications close". Both lines sit on the one page.
The Wider Offsite Footprint
Two further offsite points carry a time on the schedule page. The Buyer Welcome Reception runs 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday 16 January. The NFL Playoffs Watch Party runs 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday 18 January at The Chieftain Irish Pub and Restaurant, 198 5th Street.
The sofi Awards Celebration runs 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday 17 January, and the schedule page lists its location as to be announced.
Group Housing Around a Distributed Footprint
The association runs its official block with onPeak and names it the only official hotel provider for the 2027 show. The gallery lists fifteen San Francisco properties. Thirteen carried a rate and a room line on a gate read of 15 October 2026.
The thirteen cards publish a cap. Eleven read "Up to 20 rooms available". JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square publishes 15 and San Francisco Marriott Marquis carries a line of 13. Across those thirteen cards that is 248 rooms a night.
A group that works all three trail evenings holds the Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. A group larger than one property's line splits its hold across addresses or routes the request through onPeak's group tools, which the provider describes as built to manage groups of all sizes.
onPeak publishes the supply rule: rooms offered at event rates "are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis". The Hotel and Travel page publishes no cut-off date.
Distance Between the Block and the Trail
The block's own distance ladder runs 0.1 miles at W San Francisco to 0.8 miles at JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square. Its properties cluster around Union Square and SoMa.
The trail spreads into three further districts. An OpenStreetMap match puts a Mano at 450 Hayes Street 1.33 miles from Moscone Center South. China Live at 644 Broadway sits 1.04 miles from it. Those are straight-line figures on a 16 October 2026 read. The trail page publishes a district for each of the three restaurants and no street address.
What the Organiser Leaves Open
The stat block carries the number 16. The trail page names three offsite sampling venues. No page carries a full roster.
Ask the association for the offsite list before a destination partner builds a shuttle plan or a walk plan around it. The three trail dates, the 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. windows and the three named venues all read on the association's own pages.
The block publishes no cut-off and no per-property room count. The gallery refused a scripted read on 16 October 2026, so the room caps and the two zero lines rest on the 15 October 2026 gate read.
