200 Vendor Spaces: What the ABC Health & Fitness Expo Asks of Indianapolis

A one-day consumer expo fills Exhibit Hall A on 10 October. The exhibitor side is the group story, and the floor terms are published.

A one-day public show inside a full week

The ABC Health & Fitness Expo runs Saturday, 10 October 2026, at the Indiana Convention Center. The venue publisher lists doors at 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the room as Exhibit Hall A, and the forecast attendance at 2,000.

Two other events close in the building that Saturday. The FullScale Symposium ends its third day in Sagamore Ballroom 1-7, with a forecast of 1,000. The American Dental Association Scientific Sessions end the third day of their meeting, with a forecast of 4,000.

The venue calendar lists 16 events between 22 September and 15 October. Five dates in that window stay free.

The exhibitor side is the group story on this show. The venue page carries the organiser's own line: 200 vendor spaces in total, with 60-plus businesses waiting for the vendor form to go live.

Two hundred booths against a 211-booth hall

The ICCLOS Facility Guide gives Exhibit Hall A at 4,300 theatre seats, 2,370 banquet seats, 211 booths of 10 feet by 10 feet, 44,400 square feet of floor and a 35-foot ceiling.

Two hundred vendor spaces is 94.8 percent of that published booth count. Eleven booths of headroom sit inside the hall.

Halls A, B and C together take 673 ten-foot booths. Hall B takes 231 of them.

On a 200-booth build each space carries 222 square feet of the 44,400 square feet of floor.

Docks, loads and the build clock

The ICC loading docks sit at 5 South Missouri Street and are reached off northbound Missouri Street. The guide assigns Hall A to docks 1-3, Hall B to 4-6 and Hall C to 7-9.

Forty-nine loading bays and seven drive-in ramps sit at the rear of the exhibit halls.

Halls A, B and C carry a floor load of 500 pounds per square foot.

The ICCLOS refuses freight shipments. The in-house Ricoh Business Center takes packages up to 149 pounds, with no pallets and no skids, addressed to the business center with the show name.

All exhibit-hall floor pockets carry three-phase power at 100 amps and 208 volts. Every other floor pocket carries three-phase at 100 amps and 480 volts.

Installation and dismantling labour comes from Teamsters Local 135. Sound, lighting and rigging come from IATSE Local 30.

The initial room set is included in the room rental when the specifications reach the Event Coordinator at least 30 days before the first move-in day. For a 10 October show that date is 10 September. Set changes and room turnovers carry a labour charge with a four-hour minimum, and the rooms are refreshed once daily.

Insurance, coupons and the ticket office

The guide requires insurance for every event held in an exhibit hall and for every public-ticketed event. A Certificate of Insurance must reach the ICCLOS at least 45 days before initial occupancy, at $1,000,000 combined single limit.

Dock guards are required during move-in and move-out, with a four-hour minimum, drawn from the pre-qualified security list.

All coupons must be approved by the Ticket Office before they go to print, and the samples stay with the Ticket Office under Indiana State Board of Accounts rules. A 10 percent Marion County admissions tax applies to seat-specific tickets sold through that office.

The main Ticket Office sits at the southeast corner of Lucas Oil Stadium facing Capitol Avenue, with 28 exterior windows and three interior windows. An auxiliary office opens on certain event days. Armed security officers must be present in the Ticket Office at all times when tickets are sold there.

One caterer, one tax, one card

Sodexo Live! holds the exclusive food and beverage rights in the building, and the catering department holds the exclusive right to booth catering.

An exhibitor may sample food inside its own booth with a Marion County Health Department permit. The signed authorization request form must sit in the show office and in the booth. The building sets the maximum number of booths allowed to sample.

Coffee, popcorn, sodas, bar service and ice count as traffic promoters. Those items must come from Sodexo Live!.

Food and beverage purchases run card-only. A reverse ATM in the Speedway Corridor vending area exchanges cash for a debit card. Purchases carry 7 percent Indiana sales tax plus 2 percent Marion County food and beverage tax.

What the city supplies outside the hall

The venue counts 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance, and 7,100 downtown hotel rooms with 4,700 of them connected by skywalk.

Downtown carries more than 70,000 parking spaces. Denison Parking operates every ICC and Lucas Oil Stadium lot, at (317) 916-1760, and pre-paid parking runs online.

The skywalks lock down at about 11 p.m. on the venue's rule of thumb and reopen at about 6 a.m. An 8 p.m. door close leaves roughly three hours of walkable downtown.

The venue publishes 15 minutes to Indianapolis International Airport. A routed drive from 100 South Capitol Ave measured about 21.3 kilometres and about 24 minutes at free flow on OSRM.

Five items to settle first

Two hundred booths sets the ask on this show. The floor needs a hall that takes the booth count, a dock window for a one-day build and a same-day teardown, and a set specification that reaches the Coordinator by 10 September.

The organiser publishes 5,000-plus attendees on its own site. The venue forecast reads 2,000. Each publisher keeps its own number.

Settle five items before the floor plan is drawn: the dock window, the floor load, the insurance certificate date, the coupon approval and the sampling permits.
