One fair, seven stages, one district
The Folsom Street Fair held its 43rd edition on Sunday 27 September 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The home page carried the date and the hours, and the organiser's FAQ dated the fair to Sunday 27 September. Folsom Street dates itself to 1984 and reports more than $7 million given to nonprofit LGBTQ2S+ organisations since then.
The fair ran on seven community stages. The organiser's map names BONDAGE STAGE, CENTER STAGE, FOLSOM LIVE STAGE, PLAYGROUND STAGE, REAL BAD X 1015 STAGE, STEAMWORKS STAGE and STUD DRAG STAGE, plus a WRESTLE RING and five ADA seating areas.
The Playground sat on 10th Street between Howard and Folsom. The organiser reserved that space for women of every kind and all trans and non-binary folks.
The map named four gates, A through D, so an arrival of any size had four entry points.
Entry was a donation collected at the gate. A gift of $10 to $20 earned a fair sticker that carried a discount at all bars.
The footprint carried the room block address
The published footprint was Folsom Street between 7th and 13th Streets, 8th through 12th Streets from Howard to Harrison, and Dore Street from Howard to the end.
Twelve outdoor bar locations sat across eight venues, each with a street position. 1015 Folsom sits on 8th below Folsom. Azucar sits at Folsom and 9th. The Eagle holds three locations, on 9th, 10th and 12th below Folsom. The Foundry sits on 11th below Folsom. NPU holds two, on 9th and 12th above Folsom. Oasis sits on 11th above Folsom. Powerhouse sits on Dore below Folsom. The Stud holds two, on 8th above Folsom and on 10th above Folsom inside The Playground.
The organiser's own room block sat inside that grid. The travel page linked a booking at BEI San Francisco, a Trademark Collection by Wyndham property at 50 8th Street, under group code 260925FOL, with check-in on 25 September and check-out on 28 September 2026. The page carried an early-bird room discount line, and the rate sat behind the booking flow.
Friday 25 September to Monday 28 September was three nights and covered the fair Sunday. A party that arrived on the Saturday and left on the Monday booked two of the three published nights.
The evening ran on the same streets
The 6 p.m. close ended street service, and the licensed venues on the footprint stayed in place. The organiser's own South of Market list named Powerhouse, the Lone Star Saloon, Hole in the Wall and The SF Eagle for the hours after. The same answer named SF Oasis and The Stud for drag, and the Castro's 440 Castro and The Edge. The FAQ places gear and toy shopping at Mr. S Leather in the final weekend of SF Leather Week.
Covers, access and support points
Six food trucks stood on 9th below Folsom and eight food booths on 12th below Folsom. Accessible parking was fourteen blue-zone spaces, four at Howard and Dore and ten on Harrison at 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th Streets. The map marked water refill points, a clothing check, a BIPOC lounge, DANCESAFE, and bicycle and motorcycle parking.
Every partner bar was LEAD-trained by an ABC-certified trainer, and staff carded every alcohol purchase. Guests aged 18 to 20 were admitted and could not drink. The fair was smoke-free under a San Francisco ordinance, and the organiser's route for a smoker was an exit through a main gate and a re-entry.
What the group desk had to work with
The organiser published no attendance figure, no capacity figure and no gate count for the 2026 fair. The block carried no published rate. Engine's San Francisco citywide average was $165 a night across 3.1 million par-rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, with September at $192, 16 percent above that figure. The page states that its observations come from searches made 10 to 180 days before check-in.
The block window, the footprint and the district's evening venues were the published terms a group desk could quote for the weekend. The organiser's home page already lists the next Folsom Street Fair on 26 September 2027.
