Indiana Chamber Books 220 Delegates Into One Downtown Building

The second annual Emerging Leaders Forum brings a 220-delegate statewide group to the Indiana Convention Center on 7 October 2026, with the programme inside nine meeting rooms.

One association, one delegation, one day

The Indiana Chamber of Commerce holds its second annual Emerging Leaders Forum on Wednesday 7 October 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave, Indianapolis. The venue publishes a forecast attendance of 220. The venue assigns Meeting Rooms 231-239. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the forum adjourns at 4:45 p.m.

The delegation travels from around the state. The organiser describes the day as a gathering of Indiana's next generation of talent.

The programme

Registration and a continental breakfast open at 8:30 a.m. Welcome and opening remarks run at 9:00 a.m. The opening keynote starts at 9:15 a.m. Sessions follow at 10:10 a.m., 11:10 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:10 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. Four breaks split them.

The 2026 Emerging Leader of the Year Awards Luncheon sits at noon. Vanessa Green Sinders, president and chief executive of the Indiana Chamber, gives the remarks. A networking reception runs at 4:00 p.m.

Six sessions, three food functions and four breaks fill 8.25 hours inside one building. The group books no shuttle and clears the building by 4:45 p.m.

Nine rooms in one footprint

The facility guide gives each room in the 231-239 set 1,785 sq ft, 210 theatre seats, 120 classroom seats and 80 banquet seats. The nine rooms total 16,065 sq ft. Two hundred and twenty delegates sit at 73 sq ft each.

The Center holds 71 meeting rooms and 113,302 sq ft of meeting space. Eleven exhibit halls and three ballrooms sit behind that inventory.

The published group unit

The organiser prices the group unit at a table of six. A single ticket runs $199 for members and $249 at list. A table of six runs $579 for members and $699 at list. Lunch alone runs $99 a head, or $479 for a table of six. The member table works out at $96.50 a seat.

The organiser publishes one lodging path and no block rate. The event page names the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis at corporate account ID 55737, subject to availability. No cut-off date appears. A planner reads that as a routing instruction and budgets the room line separately.

The footprint

The facility guide counts 4,570 committable group rooms downtown, 4,721 rooms connected to the Center and 7,175 rooms within a six-block radius. The venue footer counts 7,100 downtown rooms. The same guide counts 4,717 of downtown's 7,200 rooms on the skywalk system, which is 65.5 percent.

The venue states a skywalk lock-down near 11:00 p.m. and a reopening near 6:00 a.m., and calls the window event-dependent. More than 200 downtown restaurants sit within walking distance. The airport sits 15 minutes out by the venue's published figure.

The week around the date

The venue calendar lists 16 events with dates from 22 September to 15 October. 7 October closes the Gas Machinery Conference, which runs 4 to 7 October. The ISBA/IAPSS Annual Conference runs 5 to 6 October. The FullScale Symposium and the American Dental Association Scientific Sessions both open on 8 October.

An association that wants the Center in early October books against that pattern. Days inside the window with no event on the calendar are 23 and 24 September, 2 and 3 October, and 11 October.

The close

A 220-delegate group can hold its whole programme inside one building on this date. The district supplies 4,570 committable group rooms around it, and the skywalk carries the group between the two.
