Two Halls, Four Gates and One Unpublished Group Rate

Nine March days in two State Fairgrounds halls, with four gates, a $10 vehicle charge and no published group rate for a block 6.6 miles out.

Two Halls on a 250-Acre Campus

The Indiana Flower + Patio Show runs Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 March 2027 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, 1202 E. 38th St., Indianapolis. The organiser, Marketplace Events, books two campus buildings. Expo Hall holds one. West Pavilion holds the other.

The venue measures the campus at over 250 acres and more than 1,000,000 square feet of event space. Exposition Hall carries 74,000 square feet. West Pavilion carries 147,000 square feet and stands as the venue's largest event venue. The two halls hold 221,000 square feet between them.

Doors open at 10 a.m. on all nine days. The published grid gives 80 show-floor hours: ten hours on both Saturdays and on Friday 19 March, nine hours Monday to Thursday and seven hours on both Sundays. No dark day separates the nine dates.

Four Gates and One Transport Term

The show's venue page names four main entrances: Gate 1 on 38th Street, Gate 2 on 42nd Street, and Gates 5 and 6 on Fall Creek Parkway. The venue's Directions & Parking page states that shuttle service is no longer available.

A group moving between a hotel and the two halls books its own transport.

Parking carries a $10 facility charge per vehicle per day, paid by cash or card. Accessible parking sits in the southeast and west corners of the infield, at the South Lot, at the Indiana School for the Deaf lot and behind the Indiana Arts Building.

IndyGo Routes 4 and 39 serve the grounds. The Purple Line carries a State Fair station. A two-hour unlimited ride costs $2.75, and the daily fare cap is $6.00.

Where the Published Housing Sits

The organiser's Accommodations block names two hotels. Hampton Inn NE Castleton Indianapolis sits at 6817 East 82nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Candlewood Suites Indianapolis NE sits at 8111 Bash Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Against the venue's street address the two measure 6.73 miles and 6.61 miles in a straight line.

Neither property publishes a rate, a cut-off date or a room count. The venue's hotel page carries one line routing to a Preferred Hotels booking run with Visit Indy and names no property. That list carries 85 properties with a distance field each, from Bottleworks Hotel at 3.20 miles to Hotel Carmichael, Autograph Collection at 9.97 miles. Read 25 September 2026.

A third route is Lazy Sunday Rentals, a local, women-owned Indianapolis vacation rental company with full kitchens, workspaces, free parking and gathering areas. The published offer is 10 percent off a direct booking under code LAZYINDYFLOWERSHOW. RV campers book the campgrounds on the grounds at 317-927-7500 for $40 plus tax per day with hook-up.

The Group Rate the Show Does Not Publish

The show's corporate ticket route runs through a contact link and an organiser email address. It publishes no rate, no minimum purchase and no deadline.

The Fairgrounds publishes group pricing for the Indiana State Fair's own programme on its Corporate Group Sales page: advance tickets of $10 to $12 on a 50-ticket minimum, up to $6 off each admission, with parking passes and Fair Bucks for food and beverage available alongside, and Rac Coffey at 317-927-7525 as the contact.

A destination selling these nine days works from a date range, two halls, four gates and one parking charge. It holds no group rate and no room block to quote.

The Weekday Tail and the Gala

Admission is $15 at the door and $13 online, with children 12 and under free. The organiser adds a $5 price for the last two hours of each weekday session, Monday 15 to Thursday 18 March, paid at the box office. Those four windows total eight hours.

Noble Evening in the Gardens runs Friday 12 March 2027, the night before the public run opens. It is a ticketed preview gala among the showcase gardens, running since 1997, with restaurant offerings, live entertainment and silent and live auctions. Tickets and sponsorship go through 317-375-2700.

Will call sits in the show office at the northeast corner of the West Pavilion. Wheelchairs come free at the standard 18-inch width on a first-come basis. Strollers are allowed. Pets are not.
