The 2027 window
The Indiana Green Expo returns to the Indiana Convention Center for February 8 to February 10, 2027. The organiser dates the 2027 edition on its Future and Past Expos page. The venue carries the same window with a forecast of 2,000 attendees. February 8 is a Monday and February 10 a Wednesday, so the published window gives a group two midweek nights.
The scale the organiser publishes
The organiser's exhibitor page for the 2026 cycle lists 150-plus exhibitors and over 2,000 visitors across a two-day trade show. The same page names a New Product Showcase and a trade show lounge in the centre of the exhibitor hall.
The 2026 trade show ran February 10 and 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Wednesday, which is 11.5 hours of floor time. Education ran three days, February 9 to 11, 2026. The 2026 booth contract sets a standard booth at 10 feet wide by 10 feet deep and an economy booth at 10 feet by 8 feet.
Where the floor sits
The venue's event page carries no location field. The organiser's 2026 floor plan and exhibitor page place that trade show in Hall D. The venue's own facility guide sizes Hall D at 46,800 square feet, with 205 booths of 10 by 10 and 2,490 banquet seats. The 2027 hall and floor plan are unpublished.
Indianapolis as the draw
The venue's footer carries the destination counts a group planner asks for. Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms, 4,700 of them connected to the convention center by skywalk, with 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance and 15 minutes to Indianapolis International Airport. The 4,700 skywalk rooms are 66.20 percent of the 7,100 total.
Visit Indy publishes the connected package at 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms. It states that the downtown pipeline will bring the total number of rooms within walking distance of the convention center to more than 10,000.
The headquarter hotel and the block terms
The organiser's hotel page names the Westin Indianapolis, 241 W Washington St, as the IGE headquarter hotel, and sends guests to IGE room block rates. Visit Indy lists the property at 575 sleeping rooms and 42,500 square feet of meeting space in the heart of downtown.
The housing system behind the organiser's room block link lists the Westin as its single property and now reads closed to new reservations. The 2026 cut-off moved to January 23, 2026. A 2027 rate, a 2027 cut-off and a 2027 night pattern are unpublished.
The February booking week
The venue's event feed carries 14 records from January 20 to February 28, 2027. Three of them carry dates inside the expo's own three days. The Indiana Health and Safety Conference & Expo opens Sunday February 7 and runs to Wednesday February 10, with a venue forecast of 850. The Core-Mark Expo opens Wednesday February 10 and runs to Thursday February 11.
The published window gives a group the nights of February 8 and February 9. Two venue records cover both nights, and a third opens on the Wednesday checkout. The two overlapping events carry venue forecasts of 2,000 and 850, or 2,850 together, which is 40.14 percent of the venue's 7,100 downtown rooms.
Group maths on the published numbers
Two nights at the venue's 2,000 forecast is 4,000 room nights. That equals 56.34 percent of the 7,100 downtown rooms and 85.11 percent of the 4,700 skywalk-connected rooms. The 2,000 is the venue's forecast, so each share is arithmetic on a forecast.
The destination counts come from the venue's own footer, and the connected-hotel roster belongs to Visit Indy.
