One pool, five competition days
The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships run Tuesday 9 to Saturday 13 March 2027. The venue is the IU Natatorium at 901 West New York Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202, on the IU Indianapolis campus. The NCAA championship page and its 2026-27 Important Updates memo carry the dates and the pool, and the Natatorium's own calendar lists the meet at 9-13 March. The NCAA's host-site release names the Great Lakes Valley Conference and Indiana Sports Corp as hosts.
The meet holds one building for five consecutive competition days. The opening Tuesday carries a diving qualification meet at the same pool. One parking system and one campus address carry the whole stay.
The field the planner books around
The Important Updates memo sets the field at 380 participants. Men: 175, made up of 157 swimmers and 18 divers. Women: 205, made up of 183 swimmers and 22 divers. Every invited swimmer and diver counts toward that 380 ceiling.
The same memo prints a deck pass formula per gender, headed for the 2026 championships: two passes for one to four swimmers, three for five to nine, four for 10 to 14 and five for 15 to 18, plus one for any diver and one for any relay-only swimmer.
The entry clock sets the travel party
Final roster updates are due Friday 8 January 2027. Online meet registration opens Thursday 14 January 2027. Qualification closes Sunday 21 February 2027 at 11:59 p.m. local time. Results are due Monday 22 February by 5 p.m. Eastern time and entries by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time the same day. Coaches who entered more than 18 swimmers must be available for an NCAA call on 23 February, and entry challenges close that day at 3 p.m. Eastern. Official qualification lists, alternates included, post by 5 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday 24 February. Relay confirmations close Friday 26 February at 5 p.m. Eastern. The qualification lists land 13 days before the opening Tuesday, and the relay list 11 days out. A team's travel party is not final until then.
The team hotel document on the championship page
The championship page carries one hotel document, the 2025-26 edition published for the 2026 meet in Evansville. It names seven properties at double/double rates from $115.00 to $159.00, with tax stated at 15 percent and one reservation cut-off, Monday 2 March 2026 at 5 p.m. local time. Per-property blocks run from 5 to 40 double/doubles a night across the 8 to 14 March 2026 window. The rooms carry complimentary wifi and self and bus parking, one complimentary room night for every 25 paid, and complimentary meeting space for the NCAA or its assigned guest. Six of the seven properties print a complimentary hot breakfast line. Each team pays its own room, tax and incidental charges. Every property prints a distance of 7.3 miles to the Deaconess Aquatic Center, and the header line reads Hosted by University of Southern Indiana. No 2027 Indianapolis list, rate, block or cut-off date sits on the championship page.
The city inventory behind the campus address
The Indiana Convention Center's attendee hotels page counts 7,100 hotel rooms downtown, 4,700 connected to the center by skywalk, 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance and 15 minutes to the airport. Visit Indy's meeting-hotels page counts 34,000 rooms in the metro area, more than 8,300 downtown with more than 3,000 in the pipeline, 4,700 connected to the center at 12 hotels with 800-plus in development, and 24 properties with 10,000 square feet or more of meeting space.

The Natatorium's own calendar lists eleven bookings from February to June 2027, stamped Updated 9/2/2026 with the line Events are subject to change. February holds four: Jaguar Aquatics Winter Invitational 5-7 February, IHSAA Girls Swimming and Diving 12-13 February, Horizon League 17-20 February and IHSAA Boys 26-27 February. March holds this championship 9-13 March and the USA Swimming Speedo Sectional Championships 18-21 March. April to June hold the Indy Spring Cup 21-24 April, USA Swimming Road to Indy 21-23 May, USA Swimming National Championships 6-12 June, USA Water Polo Midwest Summer Festival 18-20 June and Jaguar Aquatics Summer Invitational 25-27 June.
Work Truck Week holds the Indiana Convention Center on 9-12 March on the organiser's own site and 10-12 March on the venue's feed, covering the first three nights of the swim week.
Parking is a campus arrangement
Parking on the IU Indianapolis campus is controlled and operated by IU Indianapolis Parking and Transportation Services. The Natatorium's parking page names the sports garage as the most convenient option. The campus visitors page files the Natatorium under the Sports Complex or Riverwalk Garages, with the Sports Complex Garage connected to the building and a skywalk from the Riverwalk Garage's third-floor northwest corner. Garage rates run $5.00 for up to two hours, $7.00 for two to four, $9.00 for four to six, $11.00 for six to eight, $14.00 for eight to 12 and $18.00 for 12 to 24 hours, with a lost ticket at $18.00.
What the planner cannot book yet
No 2027 session schedule, doors clock or session count is published. The Prechampionships Manual that carries that detail posts on ncaa.org by mid-November. No 2027 team hotel list, rate, cut-off date or housing bureau is published. The NCAA ticket page runs a sign-up for information and lists no 2027 price. No shuttle plan is named on the NCAA championship page or on the venue's pages.
