One Championship, Two Sites
USA Swimming's 2026 Speedo Winter Junior Championships run Wednesday 9 December to Saturday 12 December in short course yards. The meet splits across two sites. Indianapolis hosts the East meet at the Indiana University Natatorium, 901 West New York Street. Austin hosts the West meet at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center.
The meet book carries a boundary map and one rule for the split. Every swimmer competes at the site assigned by the local swimming committee that holds the registration. Indianapolis hosts the East side of that split.
Two further terms shape a roster. All athletes must be 18 or younger on the first day of the meet, and college athletes inside that age limit may enter. The competition pool is an eight-lane, 50-metre pool, and the meet book measures the two seating galleries at about 4,700 seats together.
The Booking Window
USA Swimming names Team Travel Source its official housing partner. The housing page offers two booking paths, a room reservation and a team hold. The block's default stay runs from 8 December to 12 December, four nights.
Each property carries its own cut-off date. The earliest is 7 November at the Courtyard Indianapolis West Speedway and the Hampton Inn West Speedway. The Courtyard Indianapolis South closes on 13 November. The Wyndham Indianapolis Airport and the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown close on 16 November, the Country Inn & Suites Airport South on 17 November, and the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Northwest and the Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Airport on 25 November.
Three entry clocks set the rooming list. Entries open at hub.usaswimming.org on Tuesday 13 October and close at noon Mountain Time on Tuesday 1 December. Late entries run to noon Mountain Time on Monday 7 December with a one-time $150 processing fee, plus $45 per individual event and $85 per relay event. The technical meeting is Tuesday 8 December at 6:00 p.m. Eastern by teams-based conference call. The scratch deadline for the Wednesday relays falls 15 minutes after it closes.
Tickets sell online only, with no cash sales at the venue. Pre-sales opened 1 October. An all-session seat costs $80 for an adult and $50 for a child aged 6 to 12. A single session costs $20 and $15. Children under 6 enter free. Every sale is final.
Eight Properties, Thirteen Room Types
The block carries eight properties across a distance band of 0.85 miles to 12.44 miles and a nightly band of $139 to $229. Two room shapes fill it. A two-queen room appears at all eight properties, listed as Two Queen Beds at six and as Two Queen Beds - Standard at the Courtyard Indianapolis West Speedway and the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Northwest. Four king room types carry a full sleeper sofa, at the Courtyard South, the Fairfield Inn Airport, the Courtyard West Speedway and the Hampton Inn West Speedway. A fifth king room type without a sofa sits at the Wyndham.
Twelve of the 13 room types cap at four guests. The Wyndham Indianapolis Airport files its King Bed - Standard at a two-guest cap. A four-person family that wants one room needs a two-queen room or a king with the sleeper sofa.
The two-night minimum is published at one property. The Courtyard Indianapolis South, 11.04 miles from the Natatorium, files its King Bed with Full Sleeper Sofa at $144 and its Two Queen Beds at $154, and it requires two nights. A single-night add-on does not book there. Every other property states a one-night minimum.
The nearest property is the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown at 515 South West Street, 0.85 miles from the pool and the only downtown address in the block, at $169. The Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Northwest is the farthest at 12.44 miles and the cheapest at $139.
What the Meet Book Gives the Planner
The meet book publishes the adult travelling party per club as a formula. It issues one deck pass for a club with one to three swimmers, two for four to six, three for seven to nine, four for 10 to 20, five for 21 to 30, six for 31 to 40, seven for 41 to 50 and nine for 51 or more. A coach or manager credential costs $20, and $25 on site. A lost credential costs $100. Those counts set the adult rooms a club needs beside the swimmer rooms.
Parking runs through the Natatorium Sports Garage attached to the building. Entry costs $10 a day by credit or debit card only. Coaches can buy a five-day team and coach permit through OME for $55, valid from Tuesday to Saturday.
The organiser publishes no shuttle service for the Indianapolis site. The meet book, the USA Swimming event page and the Natatorium's own event calendar carry no shuttle line for the East meet.
