The block this group needs
The American Dental Association Scientific Sessions bring a forecast 4,000 attendees to the Indiana Convention Center from 8 to 10 October 2026. One room per delegate is 56.3 percent of downtown's 7,100 rooms. Three nights per delegate is 12,000 room nights. That volume is the sourcing brief.
What the organiser publishes about its housing
The ADA runs an official hotel programme. Its travel page tells attendees to choose an official ADA hotel for convenience and savings. The page routes the hotel list and the booking through a browser inside the registration system. Housing questions go to ADA@maritz.com.
The travel page publishes one deadline. The page asks attendees to book by 18 September for the best selection and availability. That deadline has passed. Two airline discount windows remain open. United agreement code ZRRK230223 covers travel 4 to 15 October 2026. Southwest gives 3 percent off Anytime and Business Select fares under ADA company ID 99256010.
The group unit the organiser sells
Registration is live and advanced pricing runs through 28 September at 5 p.m. Central. A member dentist Conference pass is $699 advanced and $1,099 standard. A dental team pass is $349 advanced and $549 standard. A nonmember dentist pass is $1,049 advanced and $1,649 standard. All passes cover the full three days.
The Dental Practice Group Discount is the published group mechanism. Three or more member dentists or team members from one practice on a Conference pass take $50 off each pass. Four take $100 off each pass. Five or more take $150 off each pass. Every registrant sits on the same registration record. The all-access Hands-On Workshop add-on is $1,350 against a single-workshop rate of $349.
The walkable package a planner can name
The venue publisher gives downtown at 7,100 rooms. The same page gives 4,700 rooms connected to the Center by skywalks. Visit Indy's why-Indy page gives 12 hotels and 4,700 rooms connected by climate-controlled skywalks. Visit Indy's connected hotels page gives 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms connected once the 803-room Signia by Hilton Indianapolis opens. That page puts total rooms within walking distance of the convention centre above 10,000 once the wider pipeline delivers.
The venue's dining guide gives more than 200 restaurants downtown. Visit Indy's why-Indy page gives over 300 downtown restaurants and 50 major attractions.
Three groups in one building that week
The venue calendar lists the FullScale Symposium in Sagamore Ballroom 1-7 from 8 to 10 October with a forecast 1,000. It lists the ABC Health & Fitness Expo in Exhibit Hall A on 10 October from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a forecast 2,000. The ADA House of Delegates meets 10 to 13 October in Indianapolis. A planner sourcing a block for these dates negotiates against that calendar.
The destination facts behind the pitch
Visit Indy's why-Indy page gives Indianapolis International Airport 15 minutes from downtown, more than 1,000 weekly flights and 52 nonstop destinations. The same page puts more than 70 percent of the United States population within a day's drive of the city. The page describes the ten-mile Indianapolis Cultural Trail as an urban bike and pedestrian path.
The close
Visit Indy publishes the connected package for the convention district. Advance pricing ends 28 September. The 4,000-delegate forecast gives a planner the volume figure to underwrite a room block.
