A Three-Day Floor Inside A Four-Day Week
Work Truck Week 2027 returns to the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, March 9-12, 2027. NTEA produces the event and has run it for more than 25 years. The day-level schedule starts with Future Truck Summit on Tuesday 9 March. The educational program runs March 9-11. Ride and Drive runs March 10-11. The Work Truck Show exhibit hall runs March 10-12. The venue's own event record forecasts 14,000 attendees. NTEA counted 15,646 industry professionals from 29 countries and all 50 U.S. states at the 2026 edition.
The Connected Package
Visit Indy publishes the destination's connected inventory on its connected-hotels page. The page reads 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms connected, and more than 10,000 rooms within walking distance of the convention center. The page lists the properties by room count, from the JW Marriott Indianapolis at 1,005 rooms to Le Méridien Indianapolis at 100. The roster's rows sum to 5,133 rooms against the page's printed 5,200.
What The Roster Carries
The JW Marriott anchors Marriott IndyPlace, a collection of five interconnected Marriott hotels with 2,276 rooms. The Signia Hilton Indianapolis carries 803 rooms on the Visit Indy roster, with 235,000 square feet of meeting space and a 50,000-square-foot ballroom. The Hyatt Regency Indianapolis carries 499 rooms and 35,000 square feet, with direct connections to the convention center and Circle Centre mall. Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown carries 360 all-suite rooms. The Courtyard, SpringHill Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites share 621 rooms across three properties across the street from White River State Park. Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown Union Station carries 273 rooms and 52,107 square feet. The Indy Marriott carries 650 rooms. The Westin Indianapolis carries 575 rooms and 42,500 square feet. Conrad Indianapolis carries 247 rooms.
The Venue's Own Count
The convention center publishes its own figures. Its attendees page reads more than half of downtown's 7,100-plus hotel rooms within blocks of the center and Lucas Oil Stadium. Its footer carries 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis, 4,700 rooms connected by skywalk, 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance, and 15 minutes to the Indianapolis International Airport. The Summit Sits Inside The Roster
Future Truck Summit holds the JW Marriott Indianapolis on the Tuesday of the week, the day before the exhibit hall opens. The summit is the commercial vehicle technology conference that kicks off Work Truck Week. NTEA renamed it from Green Truck Summit for the 2027 edition and develops the curriculum with NAFA Fleet Management Association. The JW Marriott is the first property on Visit Indy's connected roster, with 1,005 rooms and 104,482 square feet of meeting space. A group booking the summit week sits inside the connected package on its opening day.
Sizing A Dealer Group Against The Floor
The event site reads 500+ exhibiting companies. The 2026 edition drew 547 exhibiting companies into a sold-out hall and added a New Exhibitor Pavilion. A dozen commercial vehicle OEMs ran Chassis Updates at that edition. The 2026 recap names the product reveals on that floor, among them Ram Professional's 2027 ProMaster City, Harbinger's HC Series Cab and Ford Pro AI.
What A Group Buys Separately
The special events sit outside the registration packages. The Opening Reception ran March 10, 2026 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Generation Next Leadership Workshop and Networking Reception ran March 11, 2026. The NTEA Annual Meeting ran March 12, 2026 and opened with breakfast. Ford Pro sponsors the 2027 Annual Meeting. Ed Viesturs delivers the 2027 keynote on Thursday, March 11, 2027. Tickets go on sale when registration opens in the fall. NTEA publishes no 2027 price for any of the three.
The Dates A Group Can Hold
The producer's pages and the venue's event record carry no housing block, no group rate and no cut-off for the 2027 edition. Registration and housing open in the fall, and the sign-up page carries notification only. NTEA publishes future dates through 2030: March 7-10, 2028, March 6-9, 2029 and March 5-8, 2030. NTEA represents more than 2,100 member companies and was established in 1964.
The Package To Pitch
The pitch to dealer groups and to the exhibiting companies is the walkable package. Twelve connected properties sit within a skywalk of one convention center, more than 10,000 rooms sit within walking distance, and the summit's own venue is the first name on the roster. The convention center's own feed dates the surrounding month from WWETT on 22 to 25 February through the National Catholic Educational Association convention on 30 March to 1 April. Work Truck Week holds 10 to 12 March inside that run.
