14 March 2027 takes the date
Calle Ocho Music Festival runs Sunday 14 March 2027, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., along SW 12th to 27th Avenue. The footprint covers 15 street blocks of Little Havana. Admission is free.
Carnaval Miami stages the day. Volunteers of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana run it, and proceeds go to the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation.
What fills the fifteen blocks
The organiser lists musical stages, international food, sampling sites, folkloric dance and entertainment for families. Local restaurants supply the food.
Calle Ocho anchors the Carnaval Miami series. The organiser puts average attendance across that series at one million people a year. It puts the annual economic impact at $40 million for artists, vendors and small businesses across Greater Miami.
The club formed as an affiliate of Kiwanis International in a 1970s summer. It started Calle Ocho, and the festival grew into the largest Hispanic festival in the country. The Miami Herald then suggested widening the platform into Carnaval Miami. The foundation followed in 1987, with a mission to assist the financially underserved Hispanic youth of Miami-Dade County.
Nine days hold four dated events
A group can build a programme from the series calendar.
Carnaval on the Mile runs 6 and 7 March 2027 on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, as the 28th edition. The page prints a 10 a.m. start. The Golf Classic runs 8 March 2027 at Miami Lakes Golf Club from 10 a.m., limited to 144 players. The Domino Tournament runs 13 March 2027 at Domino Park, 801 SW 15th Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., free and open to corporate teams. Calle Ocho closes the run on 14 March.
Saturday 13 March and Sunday 14 March sit back to back. One property holds both nights, and both days sit inside the district.
Three entries carry no 2027 date yet: Miss Carnaval Miami, the Soccer 5v5 and the Pickleball Showdown. The Soccer 5v5 opens at 9 a.m. and runs 100 teams from under-8 to under-19.
The organiser's home page still prints 13 March 2026 beside the Domino Tournament. The event page prints 13 March 2027. A group booking a hotel against that date should confirm it with the club office.
The organiser's group surface
The festival pages publish no room block, no group rate and no cut-off date for the 2027 edition. A group request starts with the club office: Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, 1400 SW 1st Street, Miami, FL 33135, (305) 644-8888, info@carnavalmiami.com. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Vendor applications for 2027 are marked coming soon on the festival page, beside passport sales.
The passport and the clock
The 2027 VIP Passport is marked coming soon, with no published price. Its published window runs 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Registration runs 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 4 p.m. is last call.
Registration sits at the Kiwanis Registration Tent on the Miami Dade College surface parking lot at 6th Street and 27th Avenue. The street address is 2501 SW 6th Street. The passport includes reserved parking, and the parking line names the Miami Dade College surface lot at 2620 SW 5th Street, Miami, 33135.
The pass covers Latin food and drink samples from Little Havana restaurants, access to some music stages, private transportation inside the 15 blocks, lounge access and a commemorative lanyard. Drink sample wristbands require a guest aged 21 or over.
A group holding passes moves inside the closure on the organiser's transport and parks on the Miami Dade College lot.
The brief for a group of thirty
Book 13 and 14 March. Attend the Domino Tournament on Saturday and walk the festival route on Sunday. Register passports on Sunday between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., and give the group a 3 p.m. deadline to clear the tent.
Leave Monday morning free of a fixed departure. The festival closes at 7 p.m. and the organiser publishes no street reopening time, so the last mile on Monday needs a walking leg or a ride as a reserve.
The club publishes a 2027 date for each of the four events in the series.
