A Five-Person Team at LEARN Portland Pays $2,500

Groups of five save $50 a head at ZERO TO THREE LEARN, Portland Oct 27-29, with a $245 Tuesday add-on and no room block behind the conference.

The group term is one line

ZERO TO THREE publishes one group term for its LEARN Conference: "Groups of 5+ get $50 off each registration." It sits on the conference home page under "Teams save more!" beside a Learn More button. That button resolves to the same conference home page, so no group code, no group cut-off date, no per-order cap and no separate group contact sits behind it.

The individual ladder supplies the rest. First Look covered 10 May and earlier at $400 for members and $500 for regular registrations. Early Bird, 11 May to 2 August, carried $450 and $550. Standard runs to 26 October at $550 and $650, and onsite pricing takes over 27 to 29 October at $580 and $680.

What five registrations cost

Five member registrations on the standard rung list at $2,750. The group term takes $250 off the order and leaves $2,500, which is $500 a head. Five non-member registrations list at $3,250 and settle at $3,000, or $600 a head.

Five on the onsite rung list at $2,900 for members and $3,400 for non-members. The group term brings those to $2,650 and $3,150, or $530 and $630 a head.

Read the discount against the ladder step. Fifty dollars is 9.09 percent of a $550 member registration and 7.69 percent of a $650 one. A team that registers on the standard rung saves $30 a head on the ladder step and $50 a head on the group term, which is $400 across five people. Standard pricing closes 26 October.

The Tuesday at $245 a head

Pre-conference forums run Tuesday 27 October from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and sell as an add-on on page 2 of the registration flow. Each costs $245 and carries a networking lunch and 5 contact hours. Three forums run inside that window: Honoring Voices to Drive Change, Digital Decisions, and Transformational Play in Child-Parent Psychotherapy. The fourth, Showing Up in Challenging Times, is the HealthySteps Symposium. It runs 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is limited to HealthySteps affiliates.

The pre-conference page states no group term. The $50 attaches to registrations, so price the forum at $245 a head, and five forums come to $1,225.

A five-person member team with standard registrations and one forum each pays $3,725, or $745 a head. The same team on the onsite rung pays $3,875, or $775 a head. The Tuesday adds 25 contact hours across the team, against the main programme ceiling of 15 contact hours or 1.5 CEUs a person.

The Tuesday start sets the nights

An 8:30 a.m. Tuesday start puts a forum team in Portland on Monday night. The reception runs 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and holds the Tuesday night. Wednesday runs 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and holds the Wednesday night. The conference adjourns at 5:00 p.m. Thursday after the 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. keynote, so the Thursday night is the team's call, with a Friday checkout behind it.

Three nights for a forum team, four with the Thursday. A team that skips the forum and arrives for the 4:00 p.m. Tuesday screening needs two nights.

The block the organiser stopped holding

The FAQ offers discounted hotel rates "on a first-come, first-served basis for registered attendees." The Hotels and Attractions page states that the blocks "are no longer available" and that the properties it names hold "no reserved rooms or negotiated rates."

That leaves seven named properties, three within walking distance of the hall and four downtown on a short MAX ride. A team bid that carries a room line prices each night at whatever the property quotes.

The page carries one more warning: unaffiliated third parties are calling attendees with hotel offers. A team lead routes each room request through the property's own desk.

Seating runs first come, first seated

The FAQ sets the ceiling: "Space is limited to 2,500." Sessions run "first-come, first-seated," and a Personal Agenda built in the Whova app "does not guarantee access to the session." Five people who register together still take seats one session at a time, and the one-hour lecture blocks and repeating Synergy Circles are where a team splits apart.

The exit terms to read first

Two terms decide what a team does when one member drops out. The organiser transfers a registration to another person at any time by email, with no charge stated. A cancellation carries a $75 transaction fee, and no refund request is processed after 15 September 2026. That date fell 42 days before the Tuesday open, which leaves transfer as the only exit for a booking made this week.

Portland in that week

The venue's October calendar lists four events. The two core days share the building with the Functional Fabric Fair, 27 and 28 October in Halls B-C-D-E. CANVAS 2026 takes Halls A1-B-C from 30 October to 4 November, opening one day after LEARN adjourns. The Oregon Podiatric Medical Association took Room F150-151 from 22 to 24 October.

The venue's own directions page puts Portland International Airport eight miles out. Its garage holds 800 spaces at $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out, with $15 to $25 charged at entry on event days and capacity possible on busy days. MAX light rail, the Portland Streetcar and bus routes stop at the building.
